Boring Blog
Hi all,
I really haven't had anything exciting to blog about lately. I am reading a good book my mom gave me called "Eat, Drink and be Healthy" and it has very interesting information. Especially about trans fat and how bad it is for you. It reduces your good cholesterol and raises your bad cholesterol. food products are supposed to list trans fat unless it is under .5 grams???? But you can look at the label to see if there are any hydrogenated oils in the ingredients. If there are then there are trans fat in it. Your welcome for the little nutrition lesson.
I was looking online yesterday at information on Zoloft which I have been on for 2 years for panic disorder and anxiety. I was looking at the relationship with Zoloft and weight gain but found other interesting information. It turns out a lot of people are having a lot of problems going off the drug. They are going through a lot of withdrawral symptoms. One of them that I thought was interesting was "brain zaps." I was surprised to read this because I have experienced zaps when I miss a dose and when I tried cutting my Zoloft if half. They are not all in my brain...I have gotten zapped in my fingers and other parts of my body. One person even said when he turned his head or eyes quickly it happened and that happens to me too. WIERD. Many doctors don't recognize the withdrawral symptoms. I had asked my doctor about the zaps a while ago before I even knew that other people had them too and she looked at me like I had 3 heads. Oh well.
Its a beautiful fall day and I am stuck in the rental bunker!!!
